Segue Magic: The Test of Time

Marines: I’ll start with an apology for how quiet #SegueMagic was this week. I came down with some deadly sort of throat ache that spread to my stomach and head. I honestly don’t know what I came down with. Mostly, everything hurt and I spent a week in bed not eating.

I’m better-ish now, so while I couldn’t lift my weary body to record a video, I can now bring you this wrap-up.

Last week on Segue Magic, we were talking about things we used to love that didn’t stand the test of time:

It really fascinated me that most people took a very personal view when answering this, picking things that didn’t stand the test of their own growing up or experiencing of the media. That said, there were really great things mentioned in these videos but some of my favorites included Chicken Soup books, Titanic, Sex in the City, Beauty and the Beast and the Stephanie Plum books.

As always, remember to check out these awesome contributors:

This week, we’re talking about our first fandoms! If you’ve got a story to share, we sure to vlog it (or blog it!) and post on Saturday, May 30th. Share the link with us and tag it #SegueMagic.

June topics will be released shortly so be sure to check out our Goodreads Group.

See your faces soon!

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
