Snark Squad Pod #011 – A Wrinkle in Time (2018) with Megan Toenyes

Previously: We talked about adaptations and very human feelings.

Marines: The last two episodes we did– A Wrinkle in Time and adaptations– basically came about because Sweeney and I both really wanted to see the A Wrinkle in Time movie directed by Ava Duvernay and starring Storm Reid.

We invited friend of the pod Megan Toenyes to have all the feelings with us. She is an amazing artist, video-maker, and can generally be found making and thinking up the most delightful things.

After really mixed reactions to the book, we find ourselves with… more mixed reactions, but in a generally positive way.

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
