Sweeney: This week we have another audience selection, which is exciting for us because it means at least one person is interested in hearing this episode! (Seriously, though, please feel free to request more things for our spreadsheet!)
We’re talking about Marvel’s Runaways, the first Marvel show produced for Hulu, adapted from comics written by Rainbow Rowell. The Runaways are a group of teenage superheroes who come together after finding out that their parents are super villains. After getting the YA bona fides of Rowell writing the book, Marvel turned to teen drama vet Josh Schwartz who also created The O.C. and Gossip Girl.
For this chat we are joined again by the wonderful Ceri Riley, writer and editor for SciShow and Crash Course Film, editorial assistant for Monstress, and all-around delightful human being.

Next Time: We’re watching Charlize Theron get saturated in the 80s as she plays a late Cold War Bond-esque spy in Atomic Blonde
