Snark Squad Pod #020 – Thor, Thor: The Dark World, & Thor: Ragnarok

Previously: We watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, flailed a lot, and decided that every song was our favorite song.

Sweeney: Hello, I hope you enjoy the most cumbersome title we have ever had here on the podcast. Unless we decide to go back to just calling this episode “Thor” in which case I will have to change this sentence to something else about what a struggle it was to name this episode.

It was sort of inevitable that the podcast would eventually start tackling stuff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I can’t say there was anything super thoughtful about starting here. This is our first MCU episode for the arbitrary reason that this was the last big hurdle I had to clear before seeing Infinity War and since we consume so much media for the podcast I suggested trying to cross two things off at once and was very grateful that Marines and Rich were willing to go along with it.

Speaking of: in addition to his vitally important identifier as Mari’s-friend-from-middle-school, and status as an all-around lovely human being, Rich Camillucci is the president of Arcade Audio and hosts two podcasts of his own – Podswoggle & The Blank Slate. You can keep up with his many projects over on Twitter.

AND NOW FOR THOR. THORS. THREE THORS. Hear about our differing backgrounds with all things MCU and whether or not that affected our feelings on the three Thor films:

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
