Snark Squad Pod #047 – A Dance With Dragons by George R. R. Martin

Previously: We were deeply underwhelmed by The Girl in the Spider’s Web

Sweeney: WE FINISHED READING THE PUBLISHED A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE BOOKS. Look, I know nobody likes to hear someone brag about their own accomplishments and maybe reading some books doesn’t even sound like an accomplishment but DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG THESE BOOKS ARE? DO YOU?

We’re feeling very proud of ourselves.

This experience has been a journey and it’s weird to think that we’re not technically done yet because there are still books being written, but we’re at least done for now. Sort of. We miiiiight be doing an episode on the novellas in early 2019,  but shhh, shhh, let us have this moment.

As always, we are joined by our wonderful friend Democracy Diva, whose blog and Twitter you should check out if you haven’t already.

Hear all our thoughts on the good, the bad, and the ugly of book 5:

Nicole Sweeney

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
