The full cast production of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods was one of the first audiobooks I read last year and I loved it, and I read it in large part because I had plans to watch the show, but then I forgot all about it until Mari mentioned it to me and now here we are.
I was excited once we decided to do this thing because it was a good excuse to invite Amanda McLoughlin who is probably my single most impressive friend. She is the co-host of Spirits a boozy podcast about mythology and folklore as well as being the founder of Multitude Productions. She’s a longtime fan of both the book and first season showrunner Bryan Fuller, and had lots of lovely and insightful thoughts on the show.
