Snark Squad Pod #073 – Game of Thrones Season 8

Previously: We read the second book in the His Dark Materials trilogy.

Sweeney: Even though we have recapped nearly every single episode of Game of Thrones already and will get to the rest eventually, this final season also felt worthy of discussion on the podcast. In the break between seasons 7 & 8 we made a whole podcast AND OVER 70 EPISODES OF THAT PODCAST. We read all 5 published A Song of Ice & Fire novels, plus the prequel novellas. We had to give this thing a proper sendoff, especially when we had so many feelings about it.

Plus, I gave up on the recaps after season 5, so I had to give my final Snark Squad thoughts on this season somewhere.

We are joined, of course, by our dear friend Sam, aka The Democracy Diva whose delightful commentary you can not only find all over this blog but also on Twitter and her own hilarious fashion blog.

Nicole Sweeney

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
