Snark Squad Pod #086 – The Back To School Special

Previously: Ugh, Watchmen, it’s fine. We read it.

Marines: We are truly into fall here and September is almost behind us. This episode was originally planned to come out a wee bit sooner, but alas, travel and event wildness delayed us just a bit. It’s really an episode for all seasons, though, as fictional schools in media are forever.

In a bit of crossover magic, we invited our co-hosts from Cooler Than Homework to join us to talk about schools– a reoccurring theme in DCOMs. Ceri Riley works for Crash Course, is an editorial assistant for the comic Monstress, and co-hosts the SciShow Tangents Podcast. Matthew Gaydos works on YouTube shows like Animal Wonders and Journey to the Microcosms. He also hosts his own podcast, I Love it

Join us as we talk a trip down the memory lane of our own high school experiences and then dive into all the things we love and don’t love about fictional schools.

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
