Previously: Bloom arrived at fairy school and everyone crossed the magic barrier.

No Strangers Here
Marines: Saul and Farah are walking together in the rain, headed towards the woods, and reminiscing about all the bad times they’ve had with Burned Ones. Farah remembers that Saul used to keep a kill count, and he provides the number easily: 13. Farah looks at him disbelievingly, and he admits that he had help but 13 killed when his sword met their flesh. Saul says he can’t take a Burned One down on his own, but apparently Farah still can. Farah replies that she got lucky. The Burned One didn’t see her coming.
Saul asks how much Zanbaq Farah gave the Burned One to keep it sleeping. Farah says enough. They cross the Light Suggestion Barrier and enter the creepy barn where they are keeping the Burned One.
Paige: Seems kind of dumb and risky for 2/3 of the adults running the school to do this? But maybe that’s why there’s only three of them in the first place.
Mari: Would not be surprised if the rest of the staff got mauled.
Saul wonders what Farah expects to find when she goes dumpster diving into the monster’s mind. Farah wants confirmation that this is a lone wolf. Saul asks what happens if it isn’t, and Farah just glares.
Farah gets real close to the Burned One and her eyes glow white as she jumps into its mind. She sees flashes of a white haired man I hope I’m not supposed to recognize (J: Seriously I forgot who Farah and Saul were and I’m one episode in) and Bloom running, but then the Burned One dives for Farah. Saul pulls her back out of its reach.
PSYCHEDELIC WINGS.
Bloom wakes up to whirring. It’s Aisha brushing her teeth, but not by a sink and with no toothpaste. (P: I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed this.) Aisha asks how she slept, because the first night in a new bed is always the worst. (J: I’m glad fairies and I have the same issue. Your real bed is the best bed.) Bloom points out that the new bed wasn’t the thing giving her nightmares. She’s trying not to think about or feel anything about the whole changeling thing. Aisha advises her to get up, chug some coffee, and be excited that today is the day she learns to use her magic.
Jess: Since the fairies have access to the same Google as I do apparently, I can attest to the fact that I also wouldn’t have been able to sleep after seeing those changeling images .
Mari: Terra is starting to get dressed for the day, but she’s feeling awkward about Musa being right there. Musa asks if Terra saw the meme she sent, and Terra fakes a laugh and says she did. But then quickly confesses that she didn’t. She asks if Musa can tell when people are lying. Musa says she’s not a lie detector; she can just feel emotions. None of us have to be Musa to see how Terra is like rolling with discomfort and babbling with awkwardness. Musa asks if this is about changing and if she needs to turn around. Terra says it’s fine and grabs her clothes to change in the bathroom.
Jess: I never went to boarding school but the gym class changing routine made me so uncomfortable.
Mari: Aisha walks in on Terra in the bathroom. Aisha freely pees in front of her and starts undressing to take a shower. Terra is still awkward and doesn’t want to get dressed here either. Instead she asks if Aisha saw Stella come in last night.
Jess: What a stark difference, everyone just free peeing.
Paige: Honestly, I’m not as uptight as Terra and that even made me uncomfortable. Weird power move, Aisha.
Mari: Especially on day two? Like we just met homegirl, close the door.
We cut to Stella trying to quietly enter their suite. Musa is on hand to notice that she’s wearing the same clothes as yesterday. Stella asks where Bloom is, and we cut to Bloom, still in her room, overhearing this conversation. Bloom goes out and joins them in time to explain that the Burned One took Stella’s ring. Stella freaks out a bit, and Musa tells her to “calm down, princess.” Stella takes issue both with Musa telling her to calm down and with her using the title as an insult. Bloom is surprised to find that Stella is actually the princess of Solaria (J: So was I but it explains so much.) and the ring she lost is one of the Crown Jewels. (P: I’d actually forgotten this was A Thing.)
Stella yells about what a screw up this is, but Aisha joins now and says the bigger screw up is that Stella gave it to Bloom in the first place. (J: Tell her Aisha.) She says that the Headmistress has the Burned One locked up, which Stella would know if she were here last night. Bloom thinks they should tell Headmistress about the ring, but Stella says no way. Everyone is to keep their mouth shut until she figures out what to do. Stella asks one of them to make sure Terra knows too, since she can never keep her mouth shut. Stella opens the door to her room and Terra is inside, finishing putting her clothes on. She heard the whole thing so she cheerily and awkwardly says she’s got it.
Jess: This poor girl just wants to put her clothes on.
Mari: Okay that, and I feel like nobody is as mad at Stella as they should be? They push back some in that scene, but I feel like we’ve really lost the thread of at best, Stella was trying to get Bloom to drop out and at worst, she was trying to get Bloom killed.
Jess: This annoyed me so much. Obviously she gave it to Bloom so she would get herself in some sort of mess. I’ve got my eyes on you Stella!
Jess: I don’t know what Beatrix is up to other than midnight shotguns, but it may be worse than hanging out with the Fairy Wood Stick Fighter #2.
Mari: And hanging out with him is plenty bad.
The first years have gathered at the Stone Circle where Farah explains that the vessel, now placed in the middle, tests their ability to channel their magic. They might be able to learn to channel other elements down the line, but their first year is all about the element they were born with. The music is really soaring here, so you really have to pay attention to what Farah is saying. We get it, Soundtrack Man. This is magical.
Farah starts calling up elements and giving little definitions, and we see the girls step up and demonstrate their power. First is Earth, soil, sand, rock and all manner of plant life: Terra magics some plants from the vessel. Water, the lakes and oceans of the world, or the molecules that exist in all organisms around us: Aisha causes water in an almost double helix structure to rise up out of the vessel. Mind, (totally not an element) thoughts, memories, dreams: Musa just makes the air vibrate with a red tint to it. Also the Soundtrack Man adds “magical twinkling” in the background for good measure.
Jess: I was waiting to see how we would see her Jedi mind tricks and it’s all been a let down.
Paige: Everyone’s showing tangible useful powers, and Musa’s just all vibes.
Mari: Amazing.
We continue with air, speed, temperature, sound and electrical properties: Beatrix causes lightening to start between her hands.
Bloom is next. She steps up the vessel and puts her hand on either side of it. Farah tells her to open herself up to the magic in the world around her. A little fire starts, but then all the students start whispering about how long Bloom is taking. Farah tries to coach her through it, and even Aisha tells Bloom to focus on how much she loves her parents, but Bloom gets more fidgety and nervous. Finally, she snaps at Farah to move on because it’s not happening for her.
Jess: But like how many angsty passes is Bloom going to get?
Mari: So many. That’s my guess.
At the end of the class, Farah tells Bloom it’s fine, because it’s only the first day. Bloom points out that she’s either lighting her mom on fire or she can’t strike a match and nothing in between. Farah says she needs a clear mind because distraction causes erratic magic.
Paige: I’m mostly confused about why they just dumped her in with everyone else, surely she needs some kind of remedial lessons.
Mari: Right, like this wasn’t the Sorting Hat. They had to actively channel something and Bloom’s whole thing is that she doesn’t know how. Farah came through like, “TRY 🧡.”
Bloom suddenly asks if she’s a changeling, because that’s what her roommate says. (J: I appreciate how she just went for it. Shoot your shot, girl.) Farah says she didn’t want to tell Bloom and burden her too quickly, though she does admit that finding out from her roommate was also less than ideal. Farah doesn’t know who Bloom’s real parents are, but advises her to keep coming to class, keep learning, keep growing, and eventually the answers will come. Bloom is not happy with these cryptic and vague answers.
Jess: I hope her parents are super evil, and that she’s not related to Riv.
Mari: A very specific wish list.
Sky and Riv are watching Dane lose a fight. Riv is shouting discouraging things, and Sky tells him to stop being such a dick. In the comments last episode, Imagine Ink started keeping a running list of all of Riv’s character traits. Let’s refer back to that list and see if we can add anything to it:
1) Smoking
2) Being The Worst
Yeah, that still seems complete.
Jess: Do you remember him from A Discovery of Witches or if you watched Safe? This character deserves his fate more than those two.
Mari: I did not recognize him from ADOW, but I looked it up just now, and I laughed out loud when I realized he was on screen for like 10 seconds and got vampire mauled.
Sky sees Stella walking toward him and takes off to talk to her.
Dane’s fight is done, so he grabs his phone. Riv is still there and tells him to get off his phone. Dane asks why he’d listen to Riv and Riv replies that Dane was creeping on his Insta last night and he hasn’t told anyone. Riv says he’s feeling generous right now and somehow that equates to getting really close to Dane’s face as he dispenses advice about picking the right friends and fighting with strategy not only strength. (P: I was like, are they about…to kiss…?) Riv demonstrates this by fighting with a nearby dude named Mickey.
Jess: IT’S NOT EVEN THAT IMPRESSIVE RIV.
Mari: Stella fills Sky in on the missing ring and asks where they’d be keeping a Burned One. Sky offers to take a look at the Specialist maps, but also points out that this would be much easier if they told the Headmistress.
Paige: It’s honestly kind of a joke that the adults try to run this school when the teenagers can literally just figure out where demons are kept on campus all by themselves.
Mari: I hope those maps have a purpose other than “allowing students to know too much.”
Stella still doesn’t want to tell the Headmistress, because she took an oath to the Queen of Solaria. Sky gets it and promises to help. Stella thanks him for this and for the sleepover and they hug until Saul walks over. Stella pretends they were talking about homework and leaves.
Sky tells Saul no lecture is necessary because he’s already lecturing himself. Saul tells him that Stella is familiar and there is comfort in that, but discomfort is where growth is. Sky points out that that sounded like a lecture. Saul is just looking out for Sky like he promised Sky’s father he would. Saul gives Sky a fatherly-figure-shoulder-slap.
Jess: I just want to add again that I love Saul and he can get it.
Mari: In her room, Bloom is catching up with her mom on a phone call, sharing about her difficult classes and perfect roommate. They have a good mother/daughter moment, but it ends with Bloom sad because her mom isn’t her mom.
Jess: She should remember she burned her mom who isn’t even her mom.
Mari: Jess really said no forgetting about your trauma here.
Beatrix finds Riv and asks for his help, as a fellow delinquent, to break into the Headmistress’s office. Riv asks why he would. Beatrix says he’s a guy and she’s hot. “Or did I misjudge the depth of your character?” She did not. He’s in.
Jess: I can respect that he knows he’s trash. Oh no, am I getting influenced by his “charm”!
Paige: I stan Beatrix. She knows what she wants and how to get it, and that’s respectable. Is she wrong? Did she stutter?
Mari:: I remain unconvinced.
As they grab lunch, Aisha marvels at how the vessel lit up the second Musa touched it. Musa explains that her magic is always on, and demonstrates this by reading a bunch of people in the room. (P: Musa is a mix of Edward and Jasper but in the most useless way possible so far.) The lunch lady is in physical pain. Dane is scared and stressed. Terra’s dad might just have heartburn. And then she sees a dark haired boy and goes all *twinkly*. Aisha asks what just happened, but Musa isn’t entirely sure.
Jess: Did she just get imprinted or did she imprint?!
Mari: Don’t even joke. I’m traumatized.
They join Terra and Bloom at a lunch table. Aisha is trying to be helpful again, suggesting ways for Bloom to tap into her magic, instead of being in her head about the changeling thing. Bloom realizes that all her roommates know now, which makes her even more gloomy.
Jess: There’s obviously a suite chat.
Mari: And Bloom is 100% not in it.
Stella and Sky approach the table with a map. Terra recognizes it as a map of Alfea and launches into a story abut a particular section of the map, which gives Sky a chance to sit next to Bloom and ask how she’s doing after last night. They smile at each other too much for Stella’s liking, so when Sky stands to point out where he thinks the Burned One might be kept, Stella puts a possessive hand on his shoulder. Standing so close together, they look very color coded. You know, like siblings.
Jess: I thought that too. But I think couples start morphing into each other anyways.
Paige: My brain knows it isn’t incest because of the cartoon, but my heart is worried because YA’s done it before.
Mari: Cassandra Clare’s ears are ringing.
Anyway, the kids guess the Burned One is probably in the barn or the mill. Terra votes for the barn, because her father fortified the beams. So Stella says all they have to do is sneak in and get her ring. Aisha thinks it’s weird how casually this became a “we” thing. Musa adds that it’s more like a “you” kinda thing. Stella says she wasn’t the one who lost the ring.
Is my whole life watching this going to be me just getting progressively angrier that no one is calling Stella on her shit?
Jess: It’s all Stella’s fault! Tell ’em!
I would like someone to punch her a little bit. Maybe the Burned One can nibble on her or something.
Sky catches up to Bloom and advises her not to just follow along with everything Stella wants just because she has a strong personality. Bloom says it’s the right thing to do, so she’s going to do it. Sky then tries to explain his history with Stella, but Bloom is like “bro, we met yesterday.” She can see that his relationship with Stella is complicated and right now, her life needs less complication not more. She walks away, and Sky looks a little sad.
Jess: Sometimes Bloom just pulls it out for me. She’s so angsty but so levelheaded, and sometimes just wants to burn it all down.
Paige: Okay but was I the only one who noticed Sky’s hand completely missed his pocket and went through his bag loop when he started walking with her, and that was the shot they chose to keep??? It was kind of endearing, NGL.
Mari: Beatrix and Riv have broken into the Headmistresses office, mostly so Beatrix can exposit more of her motivation: the history of Alfea is dark and she wants to learn about it. This is a turn on for Riv. I leave every one of their scenes thinking “fascinating, so happy we did that.”
Paige: They definitely got down in that Headmistress’s office.
Jess: Does Sky not think that Riv is spiraling. Is anyone checking in on him!?
Mari: Musa feels the mystical tinkling of the dark haired boy and tries to follow after him, but she loses him in a crowd.
Bloom heads back to the stone circle where they’ve just left out the vessel, which seems unsafe. Bloom takes out her notebook of Very Good Notes and reads back “clear mind + strong emotions.” I can see how it would be difficult to remember that. (J: Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose, Bloom!) She causes a few sparks, but can’t get her magic working. And then Stella is there to goad Bloom with all her childhood trauma, including the fact that she’s broken and she has to make a cheat sheet list of positive emotions and her mom isn’t her mom. Bloom gets angry, which was Stella’s point. Stella says the strongest magic comes from the worst emotions. Bloom puts her hands on the vessel and fires shoots up. She’s happy, but Stella says they aren’t done.
Jess: STELLA IS NOT A MENTOR.
Paige: Even Father Specialist knows it’s a joke so WHAT IS THE POINT, I ask.
Mari: Presumably the next day, Saul is headed into the woods with two humvees full of guards. He stops the car, though, when he sees something out in the woods. A cloaked figure. He looks out there for a bit, worriedly, especially as we start to hear growling noises.
Paige: You know, instead of just standing there, maybe going after the mysterious person in the woods would have been a good thing?
Mari: Never that.
Aisha is awakre, but Bloom is still sleeping. Aisha spots her Very Good Notes which now say things like FEAR. (J: LOL)
Later, Aisha and Musa are walking together in the halls as Aisha says she doesn’t like what Stella is teaching Bloom. Musa’s eyes glow as she picks up on Aisha’s jealousy. Why is a friendship with Bloom so important to Aisha? She says roommates are supposed to be friends. To that end, Aisha asks how Musa’s mystery man is. Musa says it’s so weird because she can feel him at every turn, but when she looks, he’s gone. Like, right now. He’s behind her right now. Aisha looks and there is nothing there, at first, but then the boy walks through the wall. He’s an Earth fairy. Musa asks if he’s cute or not, and Aisha just calls out to him and asks for his name. Musa tells Aisha, under he breath, that she hates her and her children and her children’s children. Aisha tells the boy, Sam, that Musa has been stalking him. Musa finally turns around to face him, and Sam is intrigued. Aisha sees herself out.
This should be the Musa and Aisha show.
Jess: Well now I don’t trust Aisha. What is her end goal here, why is everyone obsessed with Bloom?
Paige: What she fails at as a roommate, she makes up for as a wing woman.
Mari: A good wing woman can’t be suspicious.
Terra is in the greenhouse with Dane. He’s helping her make the Burned One Night Night Oil. (I remembered the real name two whole times. I think I’ve done enough.) (J: Xanax.) They are having cutesy banter, and Terra even impresses him by showing how she can make a flower bloom right before his eyes. Through this, Riv is sending him text messages making fun of him for “picking flowers.” Let’s check in with that Riv List, shall we?
1) Smoking
2) Being The Worst
Still accurate!
Dane gets so flustered that he tells Terra he has to run and leaves her to do the work alone.
Jess: BOYS ARE SO STUPID.
We cut to Riv… smoking!!! And laughing over being the worst. He shows his texts to Beatrix, who rightly calls him on his homophobic bullying. Riv swears he doesn’t care if Dan is gay, just if he’s “lame.” Beatrix calls this “well-intentioned bullying,” and they giggle over it.
Jess: I really hope they don’t do that whole thing where he’s homophobic because he’s closeted or whatever. LET DANE LIVE.
Paige: I bet they’re not not going to go there, even though Dane deserves better.
Mari: We all deserve better.
Sky enters and is immediately judgey about his room full of smoke. He’s worried about if Saul catches “her” up her. Beatrix introduces herself. Riv tells Sky that Saul isn’t around because he’s meeting the Queen’s soldiers. He should ask his girlfriend about it. Beatrix is surprised to hear he’s dating the princess and asks if it’s weird having sex with someone who looks just like him. Or is that the point? And BEATRIX THANK YOU FOR ASKING. I told you I was getting that color coded vibe.
Jess: Beatrix is surprisingly a gift.
Paige: She continues to MAKE POINTS, and that’s why she’s my favorite.
Mari: Riv’s point is that Saul is out in the woods dealing with the Burned One and they have nowhere to be. Beatrix says she is in fact going to head to the library. Sky says he doesn’t have time to tell Riv why Beatrix is a bad idea. Riv just keeps smoking.
Bloom and Aisha are in their room together. There’s an awkward bit of silence before Aisha decides she can’t keep quiet. She tells Bloom that she shouldn’t be learning magic from Stella because her methods are unreliable. Bloom asks how Aisha knows what Stella’s methods are, so Aisha has to confess that she lightly snooped over Bloom’s open notebook. Aisha says again that she’s just trying to help, so Bloom tells her to stop it.
Stella arrives with the news that the soldiers are here to move the Burned One so they have to go now. Bloom hops up as Aisha calls after them that this is still a stupid idea. But then we see her follow them.
Paige: The one thing I appreciate about Stella is that she’s always dressed for the occasion. See: fashionable army jacket to go on a covert mission.
Mari: Musa is walking with Sam as he tries to guess what he sounds like. She finally describes it as the absence of chaos. (P: Literally Bella and Edward.) Musa asks about his power (boring, as in boring through walls), but their cutesy walk is interrupted when Terra starts texting that she needs help. It’s Burned One o’clock.
Aisha walks with Stella and Bloom asking what exactly the plan is. Stella snarkily asks Bloom if she invited Aisha, because Stella didn’t, which makes it seem like nobody invited Aisha. Aisha points out that they need her because what are they going to do? Have Stella dazzle it and wait for Bloom’s unreliable power? Stella claims that she fixed Bloom, but Aisha repeats that negative emotions are unreliable and not good for Bloom in the long run.
Musa and Terra join everyone at the Light Suggestion Barrier, and we watch them pass through. When they get to the barn, Musa starts to feel something and walks away from the group, almost in a trance. Terra follows.
Paige: That barn looks like the least secure place to hold a powerful demon, but with the barrier as an example I shouldn’t be surprised.
Mari: Stella, Aisha and Bloom find the flimsy barn empty. They figure that the soldiers must’ve already collected the Burned One. Except that back outside, Musa is feeling deep pain. They wonder why for like one second before she looks up and sees that like right in front of her there are a bunch of bloodied and probably dead soldiers. No powers necessary, just… look up. Terra calls for the others, and Stella and Aisha run out to see the carnage. Bloom stays behind in the barn because she’s hearing weird whisperings.
So, we are all thinking that the mystery red head fire baby is probably tied to the Burned Ones, yeah?
Jess: UGH, THE LAYERS!
Paige: Calling it now, Season 2 will be the Drowned Ones who are tied to Aisha, with this level of subtly.
Mari: The writers should call you.
Out in the woods, the girls see Saul, very hurt, but not dead. Terra and Musa are going to stay with him while Stella and Aisha go look for Bloom.
Bloom walks deeper into the woods following the creepy whispers calling her name.
Paige: Of course, when you hear a creepy voice in the woods calling to you, you go to it.
Mari: Terra and Aisha get closer to Saul, but he pulls a sword on them. He recognizes them, but apparently he’s infected with, idk, Burned One Bad Vibes. Terra uses her magic to restrain Saul. The Burned One Night Night Oil will also work to remove the Bad Vibes from Saul. Musa is real lost in Saul’s fear, so Terra tells her to focus on her. She isn’t scared. Terra holds Saul’s face as Musa pours the Night Night Oil in his mouth.
Paige: Terra continues to be the baddest bitch of the group.
Mari: The most competent.
Also, in the comments of last episode, I promised to include pictures of the teachers Jess said could get it, and it’s not my fault that all the gifs of Saul I found for this episode were of him dying, or whatever:
Mari: idk, vote in the comments if he can still get it.
In the woods, Stella is scared because it’s getting dark. Aisha is like “bitch you are a literal night light” but not in so many words. Of course, now that Stella has to be useful, she can’t call up her magic. Do you see? Do you see how bad emotions are unreliable? Just thought I’d drive the point home.
Jess: Every influencer has to learn that ring lights aren’t reliable.
The Burned One finds Bloom and charges at her. She can’t get her magic up at first, but she manages it last second. Except, huh, wouldn’t you know, fire doesn’t seem to bother something called THE BURNED ONE. Thankfully, Aisha is just on time to shoot a water canon at the thing, impaling it on a nearby branch. Aisha and Bloom get close to the dead Burned One, nervously bantering about how clutch Aisha was and how Bloom had more control than Aisha imagined. Bloom notices that the Burned One stuck Stella’s ring inside his own rib cage. Bloom digs in, hesitantly, but manages to get the ring.
Jess: How disgusting.
Paige: I would have made Stella come back for it. It’s what she deserves.
Mari: At the school, Stella finds Sky and she quickly explains that they went after the Burned One, but then it got loose. He starts to ask how someone else is, but since Stella is looking at him with those hurt princess eyes, he revises to ask how she is. She says she got lost and then her magic wouldn’t work. Not a bit of urgency. Not one bit of “oh yea, all my roommates are still in the woods with the monster.” She’s THE WOOOORST.
Sky starts comforting her until they hear commotion below. They see as Aisha and Musa help Saul into the school. Sky runs down there. Terra is calling out orders, asking Dane to help carry Saul and then asking Sam to go get their father. Musa is like SAY WHAT and yes, friends. Sam is Terra’s brother.
Mari: My question is how did Terra get “Terra” and he got “Sam”? Is there a Sam tree or a Sam plant I don’t know about?
Paige: Maybe it’s a nickname.
Mari: His full name better be the Latin name for a plant, I swear.
Beatrix runs into the Headmistress’s office and announces that Saul is injured. Farah and her assistant both run out of the room, leaving Beatrix alone there. She uses her electricity power to open the secret passage she sensed when she was here earlier.
In the greenhouse, Harvey tells his daughter how proud of her he is for saving Saul’s live. Sky is worried, but Saul assures him he’ll be fine. Farah arrives, so Saul sends Terra and Sky away so the adults can talk in private. Saul also puts his head down in Farah’s lap. She seems older than him, but idk, I’d ship it.
Jess: This was motherly, ok.
Paige: Idk, Jess, I think they’ve definitely had Relations.
Mari: Saul shares that the Burned One was free before they got there. Someone let it loose on purpose.
Assistant finds Beatrix standing in front of the secret passage way and asks what she’s doing. She explains that there is a magic barrier here and she can’t get through it. Turns out, Beatrix and Assistant are on the same team. They’ve been sent by an unknown “him” to find the secrets Farah, Saul and Harvey have been stashing under the school for 16 years. (P: Of course a man is the root of all evil.)
Beatrix walks away, and I just think about how she left the secret door open and Assistant presumably has no power to close it.
Jess: Beatrix gives no fucks.
Aisha is brushing her teeth again as she updates Bloom on Saul being okay and probably they are going to get another lecture from the Headmistress. Bloom is distracted by the loudly whirring toothbrush (P: Understandably, it sounds like a drill) and Aisha purposefully gets closer while she brushes, asking if it bothers her. Bloom good naturally chases her, but then runs right into death of the party herself, Stella. Bloom asks where tf she went, and Stella spins some bullshit story about covering for them with the Headmistress. Bloom gives back the ring and Stella tells her that they will never talk about this again.
Sky is with Stella. He gives Bloom a long lingering look, but then Stella calls him. He gives Bloom a look like “this is your fault” and walks into Stella’s room. Stella shuts the door with a smug smile.
Paige: If Skin by Sabrina Carpenter were a person, it would be Stella.
Mari: DEAD.
Back in their room, Aisha asks if Bloom still hates her. Bloom said she never did. She just felt like everything was out of control. Aisha understands about trying to do things your way. It’s why she swims. Aisha admits that while she wanted to help Bloom, she also wants this whole friend and roommate thing to go well. Aisha asks why Bloom wandered away from the barn, anyway. Bloom says it was strange, but she felt a connection to the Burned One. Aisha says that’s weird. Bloom says it is, but she’s starting to realize she won’t understand everything. She at least is opening up emotionally and can feel the magic all around her.
Bloom suddenly stops talking and when Aisha turns to face her, Bloom’s eyes are completely white and creepy music is like “this is creepy, HUH?”
Yeah, man. And now I gotta go watch the next episode to see what the heck that was about.
Jess: What a cliffhanger!!!! I can’t stand Stella and I need to know more about the imprinting. Please and thank you.
Paige: At this point, I’m only here for Beatrix and Terra, and I’m worried about the industrial strength of Aisha’s toothbrush.
Mari: I think we all should be worried about that last thing.
Next time on Fate: The Winx Saga: Aisha struggles with school and maybe we get another party in S01 E03 – Heavy Mortal Hopes.
