Snark Squad Pod

Snark Squad Pod #111 – His Dark Materials, season 2 (2020)

Previously: We watched the Netflix chess lady show!

Sweeney: This is a really miraculous day around these parts and not just because it’s my third consecutive week in a row of actually getting a podcast episode uploaded (look at her go! who is she!) but also because this is a Snark Squad Pod episode in which we actually return to a show for its second season! Amazing! I mean, less amazing that of all the shows for us to come back to, we chose this one, a show adapted from a book series we also dedicated three whole episodes to. But still! We did it!

We asked our friend (and childhood reader of the trilogy) Jocelyn to join us once again (she was our season 1 guest too!) to have lots of feelings and co-chair the Ruth Wilson Stan Club. Jocelyn also shares all her many wonderful & insightful book feelings on Twitter and YouTube.

Nicole Sweeney

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
