Sweeney: Surprise! A post! Wow! Less surprising is the fact that I have genuinely forgotten how to do this? Writing to you from the blog’s backend is a little surreal because I spent so many hours of my life typing into this little box but I had to copy and paste an old post just to know where to start. I had to cheat off my old paper in order to complete a basic task that used to be second nature.
Anyway, I’ll spare you the preamble on how life got away from us (because some of that is in the pod) or tell you how many recorded-but-not-posted episodes we did in the hiatus (because I honestly don’t know). The important thing is that our YEAR IN REVIEW episodes are an important tradition for us and in order to do our 2023 episode, it seemed necessary to edit and upload our 2022 episode. So here we are. A year late. Reviewing 2022. We simply refuse to be bound by constructs like time.
