Segue Magic: Beyond Traumaland (Lorraine)

Lorraine: I just want to tell you all the things, Internet. Don’t run away! The video below does not actually contain all the things.

Here’s what’s not in this video, but are things you should know:

– I’m not watching TV outside of what I’m doing for Snark Squad. Not a thing.

– I talked a lot more about why I didn’t like The Fault in Our Stars and my issues with John Green. And about how awful that movie experience was, but how nice the movie was. Maybe one day I will talk about that again. Also, I went to see TFioS twice, because YAY FREE TICKETS. I cried both times…

– I mentioned other books but cut them for time. You can read my reviews here: The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian, Ten Tiny Breaths, The Lost, and Darkfever. I also wanted to clarify that I didn’t mean to be harsh about those who liked Darkfever, I promise. I had a bigger thing about how intrigued I was about guilty pleasures, and where we each draw our NOPE NOPE NOPE lines. That was my point and why I compared to Fifty Shades.

And that’s it, I think!

See you all soon. Or, you’ll see me and I’ll continue talking to myself!

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
