The More You Know Fall 2015 – Probably shouldn’t but will.

Dear Traumateers,

Mari: Hello!

Things around here continue to be as crazy as I say they are every time I write an update. We’re basically behind on every series that we are covering, but it’s difficult when you have so many different contributors to coordinate schedules and busy life times, especially when we are all working other jobs that actually pay us.

Point is that even though we know there is a ton of stuff we owe you, there are a couple of projects in the works– ones that will bring in some new faces to help out around here!

First, a quick update on where we stand with everything that is:

Charmed: Still chugging along. We get them up as quickly as we can, not because they are particularly difficult but because, you know. Charmed.

Dawson’s Creek: We recently finished up season 3, though there might be a brief break before we get season 4 up and running because Democracy Diva is in busy season. Democracy busy season. Divas are busy always.

Doctor Who: Also chugging along! This will continue with Kirsti and me cranking out as many as we can.

Dollhouse: We announced that this would be back in summer and then in fall, but I’ll just officially put in on an indefinite hiatus. Sweeney was really committed to finishing out this series, but hasn’t found the time. So, we’ll keep you posted. It’s only 13 episodes, though, so it’s something I can promise you we will finish, one way or another.

Game of Thrones: This is all on me. Sweeney officially bowed out here, leaving the next episode, the dreaded #6, on me. I’ve started and I’m really trying to get through it because I want to finish the season but it’s a struggle. A real, honest-to-goodness struggle. My goal is to have this wrapped up by the end of the year. Pray for me.

Orphan Black: Jessica and I are working on putting together the last episodes so that we you see them, they’ll be in quick succession. Give us a bit longer and then: BOOM. All of the recaps to close-off season 3.

Pretty Little Liars: Super low-priority project for us because though we’re proud of those hilarious recaps (if I do say so myself), the show is just dumb as hell. Just SO DUMB. But we get them up when we can and I hope to at least get back to a once a week schedule for the remainder of the year.

Supernatural: Sweet, dear Kirsti is being a rockstar here, recapping all by herself with me only jumping in to comment. She’s been kind of over the show recently, so we’re trying to figure out what the best way to finish off the next million seasons is. For the present, though, no changes here.

The OC: I’ve got guest recappers assigned for most of season 4 and I want to finish this up by the end of 2015 so 2016 can see the introduction of our new, group recapping project: Gilmore Girls!

Veronica Mars: This is also on an indefinite hiatus, for the same reasons as Dollhouse.

Grey: God bless chapter recaps, even if they are of this stupid crap. This is the most consistent thing we have going on the site, but we will see a blessed day when we finish it. AGAIN.

Okay, so what’s coming up?

Sherlock. Eventually. Summer of Sherlock was a bust because of busy life times. (Alex finished her thesis you guys! THROW CONFETTI AT HER.) It’s such a short project though, one I have started working on, so this has now become… Winter of Sherlock. We understand that has less of a ring to it and apologize.

31 Days of Twilight. When we were recapping Fifty Shades of Grey, people often asked us if we had any interest in recapping Twilight. At that point, it seemed like everyone had been there done that and we were just late to that party. However, Twilight turns 10 years old this October and we figure that’s totally retro now, right? Go with it.

Enter 31 Days of Twilight. For the entire month of October we’ll be dissecting and discussing the pop-culture sensation that was Twilight. You’ll get daily chapter recaps and on that front I’ll be getting help from Annie (Girl From Mars) and Catherine (CatherineJane91)!

In addition, I’ll be doing a weekly vlog series with different people talking about their Twilight experience: if they loved it, hated it, still love it or now hate, etc. I’m super excited because I got some awesome volunteers and know that we will get to hear all sorts of opinions.

Also, we’ll be doing a #snarkathon of the first Twilight movie on October 24th at 4pm GMT.

To cap it all off, I also have ideas for polls, giveaways and maaaaybe a Google Hangout, but stay tuned for all of those details on October 1st, when the final schedule and plans will be announced.

Fall TV. I almost didn’t do this because I probably don’t have the time for it, but it was one of my favorite things of 2014, even though we ended up quitting both the shows we picked. Those were a lot of words to say: PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BUT LET’S DO IT.

Below, you will find a poll with a list of shows premiering during the 2015 Fall TV season. We’re asking you, our beloved readers, to vote on which show you’d like to see the Snark Squad recap. You can pick your top three choices. Try to pick something good. No pressure.

Remember that we’ll be selecting a hashtag and live-Tweeting the show, so it’d be good if it were a show you planned to watch along with us. Us, in this case, is Samantha (SamanthaSpice91) and me! She’ll be joining me on this project because she was a brave soul who said she’d recap anything, no matter what you guys pick. God bless her.

I’ve also got a playlist of trailers for reference. The poll will close on Sunday, September 13th.

[POLL NOW CLOSED]

Can’t wait to see what you all pick!

As always, thanks for being so lovely and here’s to a fantastic next few months and media that doesn’t suck.
