Marines: The behind the scenes for this podcast episode were interesting. First, I’ll mention straight away that after reaching the midpoint of season 1, I was convinced that we had to do full recaps of this show on Snark Squad. (If you signed up for our newsletter, you knew that bit already!) (Which is to say, please make sure you are signed up for our newsletter!) Season 2 of Westworld premieres on HBO on April 22nd. We’ll countdown to it with one season 1 recap a day, starting on Friday the 13th.

The other interesting bit is that after some rescheduling and travel shuffles, we ended up being able to record this episode with our guest Abi Rein while all together in Portland.

Sitting in a room chatting with friends about a media thing while also just happening to have a microphone in your face was fun. Special thanks to Abi for not only joining us on this episode, but for being so flexible and willing to wake up early on a Saturday to record this episode in a hotel room.
