Marines: Our third episode of this podcast was Nicole and I watching our first Star Wars movie ever, The Force Awakens. It was a wild ride combining everything pop culture had taught us with the simplicity of the good vs. evil plot with all of the additional details and context we were clearly missing. Still, it was a fun space romp and we committed to continuing with the newest trilogy.
We invited our good friend and actual Star Wars fan Miriam Nielson to join us for The Last Jedi. Miriam is the cohost of Hot Mess and can generally be found talking about climate change about the Internet. Follow her on Twitter and check out her personal YouTube channel.
