Snark Squad Pod #085 – Watchmen by Alan Moore

Previously: We fell in love with hot mess Fleabag

Sweeney: A decade ago I was in college and the Watchmen movie was coming out and a friend lent me the graphic novel and reader… I never read it or returned it. After a decade of carrying my stolen book with me through various big moves, I finally decided to read it because it’s about to get another screen adaptation.

And so here we are, discussing our first graphic novel for the podcast. We opted to take to Twitter to find a guest (We’re now 2 for 2 in finding very lovely guests this way! We get so nervous and then it keeps working out!) and smart, thoughtful internet friend Garrett Robinson answered the call. Garrett is a fantasy novelist and you can find his books here or keep up with him via his YouTube channel.

Find out whether my decade of crime was worth it:

Nicole Sweeney

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
