Cooler Than Homework #019 – Ready to Run & Family Traditions

Previously: We watched Stepsister From Planet Weird and reflected on 18 movies worth of tropes & themes.

Sweeney: HELLO. This is the first Snark Squad post in two months for the seemingly obvious reason of *gestures at world*. But also talking to friends is a tiny source of light in all of that, so we’re back and doing that thing. This episode, in particular, was recorded back in May, and probably the only thing that would give that away is that we haven’t felt the weight of two additional months of this, but I am revealing our secrets to you, because we’re all friends here.

We watched Ready to Run and once again found ourselves comparing DCOMs past. We also took a moment to evaluate who among us may have been a horse girl (spoiler: none. none among us.) and what family traditions we have kept and rejected.

Nicole Sweeney (all posts)

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
