Marines: Wow, so that was a very unplanned and unexpected break, but in our defense, we had an episode scheduled that just completely fell apart, and it took us a second to recalibrate. Particularly because we wanted to find something that we were excited to talk about during a period of time when all the news was bad, and all our grief was anger.
Enter: Your Monster. I saw approximately 2 people talking about this on TikTok, but in such a way that I was immediately sold on trying out this genre-blended movie. Melissa Barrera falls in love with the monster? Yes, of course, sign me up.
There was only one natural choice for our guest on an episode about monster romance– Grapie from grapiedeltaco. Grapie primarily talks about media over on TikTok, where she also has gained a reputation for finding and reading the wildest romances you’ve ever heard of.
