Oh hey, it's great to be back in Snark Squad HQ and it's even better that Mari let's me ramble about one of my favourite Gilmore Girls episodes.

A while ago I asked Mari if I could hijack Snark Squad to do a Goosebumps post since I had found one of the books at my local library and she was a total sport about it. And then Samantha volunteered as tribute to be my trusty sidekick which is how we got here. (S: Hello!) Truth be told, I didn't read Goosebumps as a kid or teen so this is an adventure for me on more than one level. (S: Omigosh same, I was a super scairdy cat!) I was an Enid Blyton and Agatha Christie (yes, even at that time) kind of reader.
Ryan calls Julie while Seth wants to be connected to the pilot of a plane but no such luck because even Seth can't bully himself into an airplane cockpit or something like that. After hanging up, Seth "accidentally" hears what Julie and Ryan are talking on the phone about - him and some investigation. (Can you tell I'm not completely up to date on my OC watching? Ahem.)

After a lot of previouslies we open with Seth and Ryan playing video games. Ryan has mastered the art and is beating Seth. The student has become the master so to say. Just then, the Cohen parents walk in, wanting to talk to Ryan. The suspense is killing all of us, I know, right?! Like, what could this possibly be about? Seth is being his weird self, mentioning something about the rug which I have no idea whether it will be necessary information or is just a stupid throwaway comment. Moving on.
The Cohens inform Ryan that they went to CPS today and they want him to stay with them. I told you this was going to be exceptionally unexpected news, ahem. The Cohen's only concern is that they will need to have signed over all of Ryan's legal rights.
