The Snark Ladies have decided to tell you a little bit about what they think of this Fall season’s new TV shows. In part one, we talk a bit about some of the shows that premiered last week.
Hello friends!
The last time I wrote one of these posts it was this same time last year to announce this very same thing. Where this might usually be the place where I lament the slower pace of things around here, I'm actually really proud of how much we were able to do over the last year. Considering all the personal things I went through, plus the fact that we've changed the roster a bit around here, we did good. We do things as best we can and as quickly as we can. We pour all our love and snark into each post.

Things around here continue to be as crazy as I say they are every time I write an update. We're basically behind on every series that we are covering, but it's difficult when you have so many different contributors to coordinate schedules and busy life times, especially when we are all working other jobs that actually pay us.
Point is that even though we know there is a ton of stuff we owe you, there are a couple of projects in the works and one that will bring in some new faces to help out around here.

You know, it was way too fun thinking about who we would run around with at the end of the world.

I'm so sorry I've been slacking on not only filming my own responses to Segue Magic, but putting together these wrap-up posts. My travel schedule these past two months has been a wee bit crazy. It is my intention to catch up and somehow share the the topics I missed, but you know. I always have all of the intentions.
Anyway, last week on Segue Magic, we were talking about the computer and video games we played as children. Check it out!

Hello friends! This past week on Segue Magic, we all got together and talked about TV shows we miss. Check it out:
Hello! In case you haven't seen any of my various Tweets squeeing about this, I'm in the middle of some summer traveling! That's really just me excusing myself for being stupid late with this post, meaning you'll get two #SegueMagic recaps this week. I didn't want to skip it entirely, though, because we got so many great entries into both topics.
So, first up, we asked everyone what things they would be reading, watching and playing this summer (...or winter for everyone in the Southern hemisphere...) Check it out!

Hey! So, I stopped doing these recaps of our recaps because our recapping had been a little bit spotty. Plus, with so much more on my plate, I just always figured the time I put into one of these could go to catching up on one of the million things I'm behind on.
Anyway, TMYK is also where we communicate and site-announcements, and I've got a quite a few of them! So more than anything else, this is a mid-year catch-up kind of thing. We had a lot of plans at the beginning of this year that didn't really happen, so it seems right to take a moment and kind of redirect things, put a few things out of their misery and even announce some new things we can hopefully produce with more consistency.

Do you see us being all timely with these topics? Check out last week's Segue Magic, in which we discussed or favorite (and a few least favorite) fictional fathers:
This topic was super timely because I don't know if I mentioned it a million times, but I was really sick recently. Whether you get sick often or not, most of us probably have that media we turn to when we're feeling down. Last week on Segue Magic, we talked about these things that make us feel better:
Last week's topic was our first fandoms and amazingly, this gave way to a bit of a discussion on what constitutes participation in a fandom. Check it out:
