Segue Magic: Childhood Computer Games

I'm so sorry I've been slacking on not only filming my own responses to Segue Magic, but putting together these wrap-up posts. My travel schedule these past two months has been a wee bit crazy. It is my intention to catch up and somehow share the the topics I missed, but you know. I always have all of the intentions.
Anyway, last week on Segue Magic, we were talking about the computer and video games we played as children. Check it out!

Segue Magic: Summer Read/Watch/Play List

Hello! In case you haven't seen any of my various Tweets squeeing about this, I'm in the middle of some summer traveling! That's really just me excusing myself for being stupid late with this post, meaning you'll get two #SegueMagic recaps this week. I didn't want to skip it entirely, though, because we got so many great entries into both topics.
So, first up, we asked everyone what things they would be reading, watching and playing this summer (...or winter for everyone in the Southern hemisphere...) Check it out!

Segue Magic: Pop-Culture Chicken Soup

This topic was super timely because I don't know if I mentioned it a million times, but I was really sick recently. Whether you get sick often or not, most of us probably have that media we turn to when we're feeling down. Last week on Segue Magic, we talked about these things that make us feel better:

Segue Magic: The Test of Time

I'll start with apologize for how quiet #SegueMagic was this week. I came down with some deadly sort of throat ache that spread to my stomach and head. I honestly don't know what I came down with. Mostly, everything hurt and I spent a week in bed not eating.
I'm better-ish now, so while I couldn't lift my weary body to record a video, I can now bring you this wrap-up.
Last week on Segue Magic, we were talking about things we used to love that didn't stand the test of time:

Segue Magic: The Snark Tag

I've recently started way upping my vlogging game, mostly on Booktube and doing book reviews and such. And tags. Not a lot of tags, but still. I've done a few tags and it got me thinking that I could make up a Snark Squad themed one! So I did and I based them on the tags tags we use most frequently on the website. The questions and videos for last week are below.

Segue Magic: OMG. PROM.

It's prom season for those of our friends who have the misfortune of still being in high school. On the bright side: prom must mean you're almost done with high school!
I'm mostly kidding except for the part where I strongly disliked high school and maybe am not kidding.
Anyway, we figured we'd get in on the timely topic action and ask you all what fictional prom or school dance you'd attend and who would be your date. Check out the video responses below:

Segue Magic: Parties with Fictional Guests

Last week Wednesday, this here blog turned four years old! It's crazy to think about how much has changed in those four years, not only on the blog, but in each of our personal lives. I'm not going to get sentimental; I just thought I'd mention that bit.
Lots has changed and these past six months have been a bit of a struggle for us as we try to keep up with the million and one projects we thought we could handle. However, there is always time to stop and celebrate. We asked what five fictional characters you would invite to a party and mostly everyone was like, "lol. We don't party."

Segue Magic: Favorite Fictional Siblings

As is our yearly tradition, Sweeney and I were in California this past weekend. (I could clarify that it's her yearly tradition and I'm kind of the weird Internet friend that tags along, but this is my blog and I like to let myself look cool on it.)
Point is that this wrap-up is a wee bit late and for that I apologize. However, the videos are fantastic and there were plenty of sibling feels (and even some only-child feels...!) going around so check out last week's Segue Magic:

Segue Magic: Resurrection Stories

Hello friends! So, a couple of things happened recently:
- Easter!
- We opened Segue Magic up into a link-up style prompt for those who would be interested in responding to our prompts! Here's how it's going to work:
1. We will announce the month's topics here on this website and also over on the Goodreads group we created. And probably also on Tumblr. We want everyone to do these so we'll just about post them everywhere. Follow along in your preferred method!
