After approximately 2 weeks worth of continuous previouslies, we go to the credits: King's Landing, Bolton Winterfaux, The Wall, Braavos, Meereen and Dorne.

Samantha: This segues us into the Impala burning rubber down a highway at night. Sam's arm is injured and they are both a little frantic. They mention how they've never seen that many in one place before, just as the Impala screeches to a halt in front of a flaming barricade in the road.

Season 3 opens with a bang. Just kidding, we're at the Halliwell Manor as usual. Prue is in the attic, flipping through the Book of Shadows while we get some weird shots of creepy dolls and a teddy bear. I'm 3 seconds into the episode, and I'm already confused. This is going to be a great season, I can tell.
A cuckoo clock goes off and scares Prue and then Phoebe comes in and that scares her too, so much so, she magics Phoebe into some attic junk. Phoebe's hair is now blondish, and I am not a fan. (M: Me neither. I'm sorry I complained about your old hair! Not really, but bring it back.)

The previouslies is basically a montage of the boys dying a million times, followed by a reminder that the Samulet and its God-finding powers are a thing, so clearly we're in for tons of fun.
We open at the Motel of the Week. Dean's face down in the pillow, surrounded by empty beer cans. He wakes to find two balaclava-wearing guys pointing guns at him and Sam. Sam looks freaked. The two boys meet in the kitchen but Ryan is very withdrawn so Seth tries the direct approach of asking where Ryan is planning on going but no such luck. Seth doesn't want to let Ryan go and find Vulture, so he gets in Ryan's car instead refusing to leave his brother alone.

I'm not going to lie, you guys. When I saw that I had to recap this episode, I nearly threw up in my mouth. Because the opening scene is SO FUCKING SQUICKY AND I CAN'T DEAL WITH IT. But because I love you, I'm going to power through.

Hello again! This is Tom From HR, your friendly neighbourhood HR Rep, here to recap the OC season 4, episode 1! I have of course done all my homework and watched right up to this point and have totally been an avid OC fan since my last recap. Obviously.
Seriously though, I do remember watching up to this point back in university. I remember hearing Marisa would be leaving, and not being overly shocked when she died, but it still being the tiniest bit emotional.
The quick recap at the beginning of the episode tells us that, in usual TV fashion, everyone graduated at the end of Season 3. Seriously why do all TV shows seem to start with people in Grade 10?

So, I start off pumped because I love the Supernatural time travel episodes. Then I immediately sigh because we open with Dean sitting in a chair watching two girls, dressed as a devil and an angel, sexy dancing to the song Cherry Pie. It's kind of awkward to be watching this in a public cafe, so I fast forward a wee bit. (K: Legit.) The girls go away and are replaced by Anna! Remember her? The angel girl? I always liked her. She awkwards that this is what Dean dreams about and he asks why she's crashing his dreams.
This episode begins Three Months Ago at Lord Technologies. Carlisle Lord enters his creepy room where he's creepily keeping the Jane Doe. A doctor is looking her over and Carlisle Maxwell strokes her hair, like a creep. Did you know that I find this creepy? (M: Only because I'm good at subtext.) He hits a button and black liquid flows through her IV, while anxious espionage music plays. She starts coughing and seizing and then her eyes open, black, as we've seen them before. Then Maxwell Carlisle does the "She's alive!" Dr. Frankenstein bit.
Ryan broodily channel surfs. Kirsten sadly folds laundry. It's a difficult day at the Cohen house.

Sandy isn't sure he believes that, especially since he saw the confession napkin. Seth tells Ryan that it was totally a mistake. Ryan tells him to tell The Eyebrows the truth, but lol, no. Meanwhile, the Cohen parents worry about what would happen if they accuse Seth of lying and he isn't.

He shows off his licence dramatically, talking about how he's 26. The bartender's all "I do not get paid enough for this shit", which is legit. He proceeds to order a banana daiquiri. Blonde Cougar introduces herself, and Sam says that his name is Gary. She flirts with him, and he's all "RIGHT?? I'm totally hot!"
His daiquiri arrives and for some reason, with every sip he takes, we're treated to that "okay, seriously, your drink is finished, stop convincing yourself you can get the last drop through the straw" sound, which makes zero sense.

We pick up exactly where we left off, with the TARDIS vworp vworping off to God knows where, Martha still on board. The controls aren't responding, and the Doctor says he has no idea where they're going, but his spare hand is super excited about. Donna's all "Your spare WHAT?" and Martha briefly explains. (M: Donna, girl. You never noticed the bubbling hand?) The TARDIS lands, and the Doctor pokes his head out into an underground tunnel, full of barbed wire and shot up sheets of metal. Martha whispers to Donna that she loves this bit, where the Doctor works out where and when they are.
