It's over. Remember when we finished S4 and we were all about the party gifs? It was all, "SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS, EVERBOODDDYYYYY!" and life was good, you know? This is more like wounded soldiers drinking at the bar, solemnly exchanging war stories and comparing battle scars. We're done. We survived.
Blogging this season has been rough. S6 is heavy and dark and it calls for a lot of breaks. Instead, we watched it twice a week, spending several hours with each episode. That has been a challenge. Admittedly, the other challenge has been the strong feelings of the existing fan base. This season has done some damage that I worry is irreparable.
WE FINISHED ANOTHER THING! Sorry, this being the third wrap up post in a week, it's hard to keep selling that enthusiasm, but we're still pretty excited about it all the same. Is this us starting to get cocky about finishing things? This post is late, so that's probably a bad idea. JUST KIDDING, IT'S STILL SUPER EXCITING TO FINISH THINGS AND IT DOESN'T HAPPEN OFTEN ENOUGH! There. All better.
That weird ass intro is kind of accidentally appropriate as we wrap up a weird ass season of Angel. You lot seem to be suggesting to us that shit's just going to keep getting weirder, and I'm not even sure what to make of that.

Sweeney: Guys, we’ve now watched five seasons of Buffy. These posts are awesome ways for us to celebrate finishing things, because of how infrequently we do that and how excited we...
Lorraine: File another thing under the “hey, we may struggle in real life but on the Internet, WE FINISH THINGS,” category! Here’s is a show appropriate celebration gif! Pretty Little...
Know what's better for the Snark Ladies than celebrating one end of something? CELEBRATING TWO ENDS OF SOMETHING. WE DID IT!
Season 1 of Angel took some time trying to find its footing, though very little of it was worse than boring. We were reluctant to take on this new project and long commitment, but all said and done, I'm super glad we did.
If the first seasons of Buffy were about using about using the supernatural to metaphorically represent high school, the beginning episodes of Angel were all, "by the way, graduating high school is hell too."

Although we have discussed our difficulties with ranking in the past, this was probably the easiest list for me to put together. I moved episodes around a lot less than I did in S2 & s3. Aside from the final two episodes, which I have gone back and forth on, I have no reservations about the list. That said, my list basically fell into three groups (1) Good Episodes (2) #MEH Episodes -and- (3) Never Again Episodes. I'm not surprised by how many fell into the last category, but for all of our S4 bitching an moaning, group one is actually almost half the list. The biggest problem with this season is that it's so hit-or-miss. There are several episodes that are just AWFUL, and the Never Again section on this season is definitely longer than previous season for me.
Lorraine: Dearest Traumateers, by now you all know how much we LOVE finishing things around here. Please accept this post as our chance to generally celebrate the end of season...
Lorraine: WHAT UP BONUS CONTENT. (One day, someone is going to take away my caps lock key.) (S: NEVER!) Anyhow, I figured it would be fun to rank the episodes....
