Charmed S03 E05 – A woman’s right to a crystal security system.

We open at P^3 where Phoebe is sending over drinks to one of Prue's Generic Dates. Piper comes over to inquire if he's been stood up since Prue’s caught up in a demon research obsession..
Phoebe changes the subject to Piper's love life. Piper admits that her and Leo haven't been sleeping together because Leo keeps being orbed out whenever they get frisky. Does this mean Leo appears before The Powers That Be totally naked or can he redirect the orb-travel to a closet first?

Charmed S03 E04 – Single-shaming.

Manor. It's Halloween. Piper is Glinda the Good Witch, Prue is something that involves glitter, and Phoebe is Elvira. Piper says she's got a new attitude and she's determined to celebrate the witches' holiday with enthusiasm. Phoebe objects to the portrayal of witches in popular culture and... I can't. Too on the nose.

Charmed S03 E03 – Not those kinds of tweens.

Piper is tending to the bar at P^3 when Leo comes in. He needs to talk with her, but first they have to get their no-chemistry kissing on. When they break away, Leo says that he came to say goodbye because The Powers That Be won't ever let them be together and all the usual nonsense we’ve been over a zillion times. His voice gets all dream-echoey and Piper can't hear what he's saying anymore even though it still sounds pretty clear to me. He backs away, mouths, "I love you," and tinkles away. It's a bit early for my gag-reflex to kick in, but there it is.

Charmed S03 E02 – OWL always love you.

Piper is waiting in a salon, watching two women under hair dryers flip through bridal magazines. She looks down at the table where there is a pile of magazines there too. She picks one up, frustratedly puts it down, and decides to walk out on her hair appointment? Like, did she change her mind about her dirty hair? Was she just sitting there to spy on women reading bridal magazines? I don't really know.
Piper gets into a elevator and two women walk in and excitedly show off their engagement rings.

Charmed S03 E01 – Charmednesia is real

Season 3 opens with a bang. Just kidding, we're at the Halliwell Manor as usual. Prue is in the attic, flipping through the Book of Shadows while we get some weird shots of creepy dolls and a teddy bear. I'm 3 seconds into the episode, and I'm already confused. This is going to be a great season, I can tell.
A cuckoo clock goes off and scares Prue and then Phoebe comes in and that scares her too, so much so, she magics Phoebe into some attic junk. Phoebe's hair is now blondish, and I am not a fan. (M: Me neither. I'm sorry I complained about your old hair! Not really, but bring it back.)

Charmed S02 E21 – The Four Magicians of the Fauxpocalypse

The girls return from a shopping trip and talk about how fun the shopping trip was. Prue says it's way more fun than vanquishing demons and everyone who has to watch them vanquish these demons would probably agree.
Stephanie: Maybe vanquishing would be more exciting if it involved more than a bad poem that turns demons into sparkles and twinkle lights in three seconds.
Mari: One of the girls turns on the little kitchen TV. There is a report on the news about a street brawl. Prue asks if they think this kind of violence has been happening a lot lately and Phoebe just quotes her Sociology 101 class.

Dawson’s Creek S03 E17 – Something, something and a kiss.

We open in the Witter Jeep, with Pacey driving Joey to the train station. She gushes about how she'll finally get to use those dance lessons they took, and Pacey squints at an ornate invitation. Apparently AJ has won a creative writing award and there's a big celebration and dancing?? I'm as confused as Pacey is. He grumbles about it, then tells Joey to ignore him and have a good time.
Democracy Diva: The dancing thing is dumb and only exists so the Powers that Be Contriving can name this episode Cinderella Story.

Dawson’s Creek S03 E12 – Squee Train, bound for OTP City

We begin with the dulcet tones of "Ain't too Proud to Beg," and the dancing-in-the-kitchen scene from The Big Chill. Dawson, Joey, and Pacey debate over whether people actually dance in the kitchen. (I do, and I am not ashamed to admit it.)
Kirsti: I'm going to copy directly from my notes here. "Excuse you, Joey. Everyone dances in the kitchen if they're doing life right." So yeah. I do.
Diva: YEAH. WE'RE GOOD AT LIFE, DAMMIT.

Charmed S02 E12 – BYE JACK

P^3. Piper is behind the bar chopping up some kind of fruit I can't identify because I only eat cake and potato chips. (M: I'm eating potato chips as I comment. High five!) Phoebe shows up clad in pink fuzz, all excited because she's just enrolled in college. This show doesn't have enough boring side plots, so here's another one. Phoebe needs some help narrowing down which classes to take, but Piper coughs her way out of that boring task. She's been too busy doing things for P^3 to take care of herself, but she thinks the cough is probably nothing, which means it's definitely something really bad. Phoebe starts helping with the fruit cutting and she's as baffled as I am about what that thing is. Piper explains that it's a kiwano melon that she had smuggled in from space South America.

Supernatural S03 E11 – Tuesdays are the worst.

First things first: I have an irrational love for this episode. It manages to be feelsy and really freaking dark and hilarious simultaneously, and it's just kind of great.
Right, on with the show. We open with a super close up of Sam's closed eyes. Heat of the Moment by Asia starts playing, and he sits bolt upright in bed at the Motel of the Week. Dean, already dressed, tells Sam that it's "time to rise and shine, Sammy!" This gives me horrible flashbacks to my teen years when my mother would burst into my room at like 9am on a Saturday and holler "Time for getting up now!" (M: My mom's Saturday wake-up was the dreaded, "time to clean!" -_-)
